Welcome to The Flying S Farm

Our family-owned farm is rooted in service, integrity, and a deep respect for the land. Led by an emergency medical technician (EMT) and a military veteran, our family brings a lifelong commitment to service—both on and off the farm—into everything we do. The values learned through emergency response and military service—discipline, preparedness, compassion, and accountability—shape how we care for our land, our animals, and our community.

We practice “organic-ish” regenerative agriculture, focusing on working with natural systems rather than against them. By prioritizing soil health, biodiversity, and resilience, we aim to leave the land better than we found it. Our cattle and sheep are rotationally grazed to strengthen pastures and build healthy soils. Chickens are raised on pasture, where they contribute to natural fertilization and pest control. We also tend honey bees, supporting pollination across the farm while producing raw, local honey. Our vegetable gardens are cultivated using compost, cover crops, and minimal tillage, producing seasonal food while protecting the living soil beneath it.

Service doesn’t stop at the farm gate. As an EMT- and veteran-led operation, we believe feeding people is an extension of caring for them. We see agriculture as both a responsibility and a privilege—one that connects land stewardship with community well-being.

Every decision we make reflects a commitment to health, resilience, and honesty—from how our food is grown to how we show up for others in times of need. Supporting our farm means supporting a mission of service, regeneration, and care for future generations.
